As an International Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving Springtime’s growth by acquiring and managing strategic clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a high-impact sales environment, is comfortable with long sales cycles, and excels in building relationships with senior decision-makers at large, international companies.

According to the collective agreement, a minimum salary of Euro 4,485 gross per month applies to your position. Depending on your experience and qualifications, we offer an overpayment in line with the market, as well as a variable salary component which depends upon the achievement of individual objectives.

Your tasks

  • Identify and engage with senior decision-makers (e.g. CFO’s, Heads of Procurement, GBS Heads, GPO’s and Finance Leaders) in large multinational companies in Springtime’s target industries (pharma, chemical, life sciences and automotive).
  • Own the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing, with a focus on securing high-value, multi-year contracts.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure alignment with their needs.
  • Navigate complex sales cycles, often involving multiple stakeholders and extended timelines.
  • Work closely with leadership to identify and implement best practices for sales and client engagement.
  • Contribute to the development of Springtime’s early sales processes, tools and marketing collateral to support future scalability.
  • Provide feedback to Springtime’s product and delivery teams to ensure the platform aligns with market demands.
  • Represent Springtime as a knowledgeable and consultative partner in the AP automation space.

Your profile

  • An educational background in business, finance and accounting or related fields.
  • Multi-year professional experience in a B2B consulting or selling position.
  • Domain expertise in AP (accounts payable), invoice automation and related financial processes.
  • Working experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and CRM tools.
  • Business proficiency in German and English, both verbal and written; additional language skills (business proficiency level) are an asset.
  • Strategic mindset with advanced consultative selling skills to uncover customer pain points.
  • In-depth expertise in managing complex contract negotiations and fostering strong relationships with high-level decision-makers across global organizations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
